By default, you should always receive a warning, whenever Internet Explorer tries to connect to a secure (HTTPS) web page that includes insecure content. To suppress the warning, open Internet Explorer and click on Tools / Internet Options / Security.Select the Internet zone and click on Custom LevelScroll down to Display Mixed ContentBy default, IE prompts for permission, before it connects to any secure page that includes mixed or insecure content. If you want to suppress the warning, you can choose from two options:'Enable' allows Internet Explorer to download mixed content, without providing any warning. This option is unsafe, because passwords and other sensitive data could be sent to insecure destinations.'Disable' prevents Internet Explorer from downloading any insecure content - without providing any warning that it has done so. That is my recommended option and in practice, it is unlikely to cause any problems. So what happens, when you disable mixed content?Mixed Content occurs typically, when a badly designed HTTP web page contains links to insecure (HTTP) sources for logos or other graphics. You might notice that when you disable mixed content, some graphics are missing from the page. However, that should not affect functionality, so better safe than sorry.

Does the URL in the address bar start with https:// ? Try accessing the same URL with just http:// (note no "s")
